VADIC’s Request Process
Requesting Materials from VADIC:
The Vermont Alcohol and Drug Information Clearinghouse (VADIC) is open to educators and communities, as well as the general public. We welcome you to contact us, and to request materials.
VADIC consists of print materials (pamphlets, booklets, posters, etc.) and video materials (DVDs, VHS). All print materials are for the recipient to retain, while videos are part of a lending library.
There is no fee to check videos out from the lending library; simply handle the return shipping when you have finished viewing the video(s).
GETTING STARTED:
To begin a materials search, you can search for titles or topics by keyword (using the SEARCH field on VADIC’s homepage), by media type, by audience, and/or by issues addressed in the publication.
Click on the section headings at the top of the VADIC homepage to access desired section(s). These tabs allow you to narrow your search, and even view an alphabetical listing of all materials in the Clearinghouse.
Once you have found your desired material(s), simply fill out the request form, and submit it online. The request form is found underneath each publication’s description. You will need to fill out a new request form for each publication requested. You may also submit requests via our Toll-Free line: (800)-769-2798.
Once you have submitted your request(s), we will begin filling your order.* You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your materials have been sent out to you.
VADIC is a grant-funded program; shipping is provided at no cost to you. The date of receipt of materials will vary, depending on the location specified by the recipient and the availability of materials.**
